Building a company that can survive the century
Our first annual review, covering our first reporting period, is now available. Rather than a traditional annual report, this document reflects on what building Slo has actually looked like over our first 18 months: the projects, the choices, the tensions, the lessons, and the questions we are still exploring.
Slo was created in July 2024 based on a simple assessment: organisations would need to strengthen their resilience in response to increasing environmental, geopolitical, and resource-related instabilities.
What followed in 2025 confirmed that assumption. The context became more constrained, more defensive, and sometimes more contradictory. Sustainability remained necessary, but the conditions for implementing it became harder.
In this review, we share an honest perspective on our first 18 months: what strengthened us, what remains fragile, how value is created at Slo, and what we are still learning as we build a consultancy focused on robustness and sustainability.
